Phoenix, Arizona. 1989. The height of the "satanic-panic". A born-again radio Evangelist, Bob Larson, takes up a challenge to go on the German tour with the world' s most notorious thrash metal band Slayer to write an article about satanic influence in heavy metal music. As he desperately searches for Satan, Bob realises what he’s really looking for is a way to fix his relationship with his teenage metal-head daughter before he loses her forever.
